<p>Wilder was born and raised in rural Texas. In the 1970s, she moved San Francisco Bay Area to study theater arts, aspiring to be a legitimate actress. During this time, she also began working in real estate, where she would work for several years.</p> In the early 80s, she began dating porn star Paul Thomas. After driving Thomas to the set of Wild Dallas Honey she ended up making her unplanned porn debut in the film after replacing the lead actress after she failed to show up. After having a good experience on the film along with a nice paycheck, she decided to pursue a career in the industry.
